November Reflections from The Y Agency

November has always held special meaning for me. It’s not only the season of Thanksgiving — it’s also my birthday month. It feels especially significant because several of my closest friends share that same birthday: November 23rd.

Every year, we exchange messages, reminisce about old stories, and marvel at how life has carried us down such different paths — yet somehow kept us connected. The older I get, the more I realize that gratitude isn’t just about being thankful for what we have. It’s about being aware of how far we’ve come, who’s walked beside us, and what truly matters enough to protect.

This November, as I celebrate another trip around the sun — alongside friends who’ve known me since childhood and others I’ve met along this journey — I’m reminded that life isn’t measured by milestones alone. It’s measured by moments… and by the love and security we extend to those who share them with us.

So whether you’re gathering with family this Thanksgiving, or simply pausing to take stock of your own “Y,” I encourage you to reflect:💭 What am I truly grateful for this year?💭 What (and who) do I want to protect moving forward?

Because gratitude, at its deepest level, isn’t passive — it’s active. It invites us to do something with the love we feel.
